Edna Jack

Edna (Jones) Jack grew up on a grain and cattle farm near Killarny, Manitoba.  She has always had a strong affection for animals and nature.  By the age of 5 she was already riding the family draft horses and has drawn of painted them since she was a child.

As a single parent, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Calgary.  After graduating, with a major in oils and a minor in ceramics, she has challenged many exiting fields while still managing to paint in her spare time.

Her works have been shown in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Kentucky and Washington State.  Her clientele range from as far away as Ontario and New Mexico.  Her specialties include horses, farm animals and flowers.

Currently she resides in British Columbia, where she lives on a small hobby farm with her two cats, three Irish Wolfhounds, and her two horses of which one is a 32-year-old mare.
