Dianna Ponting

The art of capturing time is evident in almost all of Dianna's artwork.  An instant locked forever into a painting that brings pleasure for years to come.

It was her love of Canadiana that resulted in an invitation to demonstrate and display her work for the Queen and other visiting heads of state during the 1987 Commonwealth Conference.

Dianna's work is enjoyed primarily for its realism whether it is children, flowers, still life or old relics.  Her technique and the many mediums she employs allows her to achieve this with subtle shadings while also permitting delicate detail.  As many as 100 hours of planning and painting can go into original works.
