ZheeClay Arts Ltd. was incorporated in 1997. We are a full service giclée printer located in a 8000 sq. ft. facility on Vancouver's west-side. In the past 23 years we have customized our building so that all aspects of the giclée process, custom framing, digital captures, and fabrication are all done in-house.
In our 20+ years, we have honed our skills of digital colour proofing and the technology surrounding it. Using custom made colour scanning and printer profiles on our automated Barbieri spectrophotometer we can accurately cater to any printing medias. The combination of a large format PhaseOne and 4000w daylight Arri HMI lights produce high resolution scans from original artwork up to 10ft wide.
Our recent addition of a Fuji GFX100 medium format camera allows us to offer high resolution digital camera captures for those needing to digitize images for books and cards but don't need large format files.
Running both inkjet and UV printers give us the ability to print on a wide array of roll and rigid medias. Print sizes can be up to a maximum of 4ft x 8ft on rigid material and maximum roll size of 86" wide on medias including but not limited to canvas, paper, wood, metal, glass, pvc, acm, plexiglass, tile, etc.
We've recent expanded our metalworking services which now includes a 4ft x 8ft CNC plasma table, tig/mig/arc welding machines, and full fabrication equipment giving us the ability to produce custom tables, screens and other metal manipulated artwork.
In our 20+ years we've worked exclusively with both Canadian and international artists producing print runs and digital projects. In addition our services have been used in many international commercial projects. This include 500 custom mixed media glass prints in conjunction with Gorman Studios for the 5-star rooms at the Ritz Carlton Galaxy Macau and most recently 3500 custom framed metallic metal prints that were shipped all over the world.
